Frequently Asked Questions

What is Semi Permanent Make up?

Semi Permanent Make up is a form of cosmetic tattooing also known as micropigmentation. Pharmaceutical grade pigments are applied into the second layer of the skin to create beautiful colour that resembles perfectly applied make up.

How long does it last?

Semi Permanent Make up is exactly that - Semi Permanent! The colour will fade over time depending on clients age, skin type, and lifestyle. So a colour boost is recommended every 18 months to keep the colour looking fresh.

Will it hurt?

With advancements in digital technology, and training techniques, the level of discomfort is kept to a minimum. Advancements in the effectiveness of the anesthetics used also means minimum discomfort. It's no more painful than having your eyebrows threaded, plucked or waxed.

How long will it take?

Your first appointment which includes a consultation, will last around 2 hours. The second top up appointment after 4-6 weeks is no more than an hour unless you need to make any major changes.

What happens after the proceedure?

Directly after the procedure, you may feel a little tenderness, which will quickly disappear. Occasionally there may be a small amount of swelling. The colour may appear a little more intense, but will fade over the next few days up to 50%.

What are the benefits?

Semi Permanent Make up will save you valuable time every morning. Each proceedure will enhance your natural features so you can have a perfect pout or beautifully shaped brows. These will give you an age defying lift and neat made up eyes from dawn until dusk. Working together, we can find a look to suit you.
